DLA ASSIST identifies MIL-PRF-23950 as the active performance specification for four types of spherical aluminium powder used as propellant ingredients. MIL-DTL-512 covers flaked, grained and atomized aluminium powder for energetic applications. Final acceptance limits depend on the selected type, grade, current revision and contract.
