Modernized firepower for base and asset defence

As the first member of the CAELOR family, AD-35T upgrades compatible towed guns for the defence of military bases, critical infrastructure and other high-value assets.

01

Towed-gun modernization

The programme upgrades compatible twin 35 mm donor guns while retaining a transportable towed configuration.

02

Programmable airburst

Compatible programmable 35 mm ammunition supports an airburst effect against qualifying aerial threats.

03

Flexible control modes

Autonomous and manual operating modes support fixed or relocatable air-defence architectures.

04

Dual power provision

Operation is supported through an external supply or an integrated diesel power-supply unit.

Programmable 35 mm airburst effect

Compatible programmable airburst ammunition increases the effectiveness of the modernized system against small, fast or manoeuvring aerial targets. The associated fire-control chain determines the engagement solution and supplies the information required to programme the ammunition effect.

Actual performance depends on target dimensions, speed, aspect, flight profile, fire-control configuration, ammunition variant, atmospheric conditions and applicable firing restrictions.

Modernization and integration

Each programme begins with the donor system and develops into a tailored, qualified modernization configuration.

01

Inspect

Assess the donor gun’s mechanical, electrical and safety condition.

02

Configure

Align the weapon, ammunition, power arrangement and fire-control architecture.

03

Integrate

Address mechanical interfaces, power, control, communications and ammunition programming.

04

Qualify

Validate safe firing sectors, airspace coordination and the agreed system configuration.

European supply and licensed manufacture

Artillerie Inrichtingen Armaments BV supports European and North American customers with programme coordination, modernization studies, system integration, lifecycle support and licensed manufacturing in the Netherlands, subject to the agreed industrial and regulatory framework.

Contract- and configuration-dependent

Product availability, modernization scope, configuration, performance and delivery are subject to contract, donor-system condition, final engineering, system qualification, applicable export-control requirements, airspace and firing permissions, and end-user approvals. Images and descriptions are indicative and may show optional equipment.
