LUXARIS TRI-82

Integrated INS/GPS/SAL precision guidance for compatible 500 lb-class bomb bodies.

LUXARIS TRI-82 combines inertial navigation, satellite navigation and semi-active laser assistance in a single guidance architecture. Its onboard control system and enhanced control surfaces support extended-range precision engagement of stationary and moving targets, including high-speed targets when laser designation is available.

Operational highlights

A multi-mode guidance and control architecture supports extended-range precision engagement from compatible fighter and unmanned combat aerial platforms.

01

Extended release range

Published maximum release range reaches 34 km from fighter aircraft and 15 km from unmanned aerial vehicles.

02

Multi-mode precision

Integrated INS/GPS/SAL guidance provides a stated circular error probable of less than three metres.

03

Moving-target engagement

Semi-active laser assistance and enhanced manoeuvrability support moving and high-speed target engagement when designation is available.

04

Mission flexibility

Day/night operation, targets of opportunity, captive-flight retargeting and pre-release impact-angle selection support dynamic missions.

Integrated navigation and terminal assistance
Integrated multi-mode guidance

Inertial and satellite navigation provide autonomous midcourse guidance toward programmed target coordinates. When laser designation is available, the semi-active laser seeker assists terminal correction and supports precision engagement of moving targets. The onboard control system and enhanced aerodynamic control surfaces coordinate these functions within one guidance kit.

Precision upgrade for existing inventories

LUXARIS TRI-82 converts a compatible 500 lb-class unguided bomb body into a multi-mode precision weapon. Integration uses a MIL-STD-1760 aircraft interface and remains subject to mechanical fit, electrical compatibility, carriage, release-clearance and platform qualification.

Platform integration

Intended for compatible fighter and unmanned combat aerial platforms. Final interfaces, carriage, release envelope, mission-data preparation, laser-code management and airworthiness requirements depend on the selected aircraft and qualification programme.

Licensed manufacturing and support

Artillerie Inrichtingen Armaments BV offers LUXARIS TRI-82 within its licensed-manufacturing programme in the Netherlands. Programme scope may include local production, integration support, documentation, training, sustainment and through-life support, subject to contract, export authorisation and end-user requirements.

Specifications and regulatory notice

Specifications are indicative, subject to change and may vary by customer configuration, release conditions and integration programme. Published tolerances are ±10%. Final compatibility and performance depend on the selected aircraft, bomb body, carriage and release configuration, mission conditions and qualification status. Availability remains subject to applicable export-control, licensing and end-user requirements. Images and descriptions are indicative.
