SENTINEL 100/40AGL

Dual-effector Counter-UAS firepower for the defeat of drones and drone swarms.

SENTINEL 100/40AGL is a compact, remotely operated and stabilized weapon system developed for one of the defining challenges of the modern battlefield: the rapid proliferation of unmanned aerial threats. The platform combines an AIA 40 mm Automatic Grenade Launcher using proprietary programmable airburst ammunition with a coaxial AIA 7.62 × 51 mm Light Machine Gun using specialist Counter-UAS ammunition.

7.62 × 51 mm coaxial effect
Automatic target tracking
Shoot-on-the-move capability
Day and night operation
Dual-effect Counter-UAS architecture

Two complementary weapon channels give the operator a mission-selectable response to unmanned aerial threats while preserving the system’s conventional surface-engagement role.

01

40 mm airburst effect

The AIA Automatic Grenade Launcher employs AIA-developed programmable airburst ammunition to create a controlled kinetic effect around the calculated intercept point.

02

Coaxial 7.62 mm effect

The linked AIA 7.62 × 51 mm Light Machine Gun uses specialist Counter-UAS ammunition for a complementary direct-fire response.

03

Automatic target tracking

Integrated target tracking, gyro-aided stabilization and computer-based fire control support rapid and precise engagement.

04

Protected remote operation

An enhanced operator interface and remote-control architecture increase situational awareness while reducing exposure of the crew.

Observation and fire-control chain

Day and thermal imaging support around-the-clock observation. A laser range finder supplies accurate range data to the computer-based fire-control system, while automatic ballistic calculation, target tracking and stabilization support a high hit probability against stationary and moving targets.
