Re-engineered M240 architecture

The M240-SLR combines a gas-operated closed-bolt action, semi-automatic-only fire control, M13 linked-belt feed and a 20-inch barrel in an envelope dimensionally identical to the M240.

The re-engineered platform is gas operated and fires from a closed bolt in semi-automatic-only configuration.

M13 linked-belt feed

The feed system accepts an M13 linked belt and can be configured for left- or right-side feed by changing the top cover and feed tray.

External dimensions match the M240, allowing integration with M240 mounting systems.

Manufacturer-reported field testing with match ammunition produced minute-of-angle groups at 100 yards.

M240 dimensions, semi-automatic internals

The M240-SLR combines original M240 parts with newly designed semi-auto-only internal components. The bolt and trigger groups are specific to the re-engineered closed-bolt configuration.

Published dimensions are 47.54 inches overall with a 20-inch barrel, while empty weight is stated as 24.2 pounds. The phosphate-finished system retains full compatibility with M240 mounting arrangements.
