The opportunity
Artillerie Inrichtingen Armaments BV is preparing to establish a branch in the United Arab Emirates as part of its international expansion strategy.
This is not a conventional sales position. It is a senior strategic role focused on securing regulatory approvals, developing institutional relationships, and establishing the local industrial partnerships required for a sustainable defense-manufacturing presence in the UAE.
Market entry and government engagement
Develop and execute AIAโs UAE market-entry strategy.
Coordinate required licenses, permits, approvals, and registrations.
Build relationships with government, defense, security, procurement, and regulatory authorities.
Support defense-industry licensing, facility approvals, security requirements, and local manufacturing authorizations.
Represent AIA in senior-level government, military, and industry engagements.
Industrial and commercial development
Identify qualified local manufacturing and technology partners.
Develop relationships with UAE defense companies, system integrators, suppliers, and strategic investors.
Evaluate joint ventures, industrial cooperation, and local-production structures.
Support local-content, technology-transfer, and industrialization requirements.
Identify procurement programs, tenders, and long-term opportunities.
Support the establishment and subsequent growth of the UAE branch.
Candidate profile
Extensive senior-level business-development experience in the defense industry.
A strong network within the UAE defense and security ecosystem.
Experience engaging government authorities, procurement organizations, and regulators.
Knowledge of defense licensing, local manufacturing, and industrial-approval processes.
Experience identifying and developing strategic local partnerships.
Strong understanding of UAE and wider GCC business practices.
Ability to manage complex, long-term, highly regulated defense programs.
Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
