40 × 46 mm Low-Velocity Ammunition Series
A low-velocity High Explosive Dual Purpose round with self-destruct capability.
It combines a pre-fragmented body and shaped charge with a mechanical PIBD self-destruct fuze to minimize collateral damage.
The round is effective against lightly armored and personnel targets and performs effectively against targets at oblique angles.
