CAELIX 40 ABM is a 40 × 53 mm high-velocity, time-programmable airburst grenade designed for use against mini and micro unmanned aerial systems, dismounted infantry, unarmoured vehicles and threats positioned behind cover. Its time-programmable fuze and target-optimized prefragmented shell support controlled effects and a high first-hit probability.

Precision-programmed airburst effect

CAELIX 40 ABM is programmed to detonate at the intended target point after leaving the barrel. Its time-programmable fuze counts down to the programmed detonation moment, while the target-optimized prefragmented shell supports controlled effects against exposed and defilade targets.

Final compatibility remains subject to weapon-specific integration, qualification, programming-interface and fire-control verification.

Artillerie Inrichtingen Armaments BV provides CAELIX 40 ABM within its European and North American ammunition programme, including licensed manufacturing capabilities in the Netherlands, subject to applicable licences, export-control regulations and customer requirements.
