A low-velocity High Explosive round developed for use against personnel targets.
Its pre-fragmented construction and Composition A5 charge produce a blast with fragmentation. The round incorporates a Point-Initiating, Base-Detonating fuze and has an arming distance of 14 to 28 meters.
