Multi-Purpose Warhead

Tactical Warheads / Multi-Purpose

LAV + FRAG
Combined-Effect Warhead

A compact multi-purpose effector combining a shaped anti-armor effect with a secondary fragmentation effect.

The shaped-charge section concentrates the primary effect on a protected target, while the integrated fragmentation section adds an effect around the engagement point.

Total Mass2.20 kg
Explosive Mass0.75 kg
DimensionsØ100 × 160 mm
Published Penetration*50–200 mm

Multi-Purpose Configuration

One Effector, Two Integrated Effects

The configuration is intended for selected missions involving light armored vehicles, protected military positions, and adjacent exposed target elements.

Multi-purpose means that both effects are incorporated into one integrated warhead. It does not imply a user-selectable effect mode.

Reference Configuration

Technical Specifications

The values below describe the available pre-configured reference effector.

Specification Value
Configuration LAV + FRAG
Effect Shaped effect + fragmentation
Total mass 2.20 kg
Explosive mass 0.75 kg
Dimensions Ø100 × 160 mm
Published penetration* 50–200 mm
* Reference product data from the available pre-configured effector. Penetration depends on the verified configuration, target material, engagement geometry, integration, and test conditions. Final performance is subject to platform engineering and qualification.

Integrated Effects

Combined-Effect Design

Primary Effect

Shaped Anti-Armor Effect

Provides the focused effect required against selected protected targets.

Secondary Effect

Fragmentation Effect

Adds a secondary effect around the point of engagement.

Mission Context

Intended Applications

The reference configuration is intended for selected top-attack and direct-effect applications involving:

  • Light armored vehicles
  • Protected military positions
  • Military assets with both protected and exposed elements
  • Missions requiring a shaped effect and an additional fragmentation effect

The applicable target set remains dependent on the verified configuration, carrier platform, and program qualification.

Controlled Weaponization Package

Platform Integration

The Ø100 × 160 mm installation envelope and 2.20 kg total mass form the starting point for carrier-platform integration. Engineering assessment covers:

Available Payload Capacity and Center-of-Gravity Limits
Mechanical Mounting and Release Interface
Compatible Fuze and Safe & Arm Architecture
Electrical, Command, and Activation Interfaces
Environmental and Operational Qualification
Configuration Control for the Warhead and Platform Interface

Potential carrier platforms include UAVs, loitering munitions, UGVs, and other compatible guided systems.

Configuration Selection

When the Wider Target Environment Matters

LAV + FRAG is the appropriate reference configuration when a mission requires a focused anti-armor effect but a shaped-effect-only warhead is too limited for the wider target environment.

Compared with the 1.30 kg dedicated LAV shaped-effect configuration, LAV + FRAG adds the fragmentation function at a total mass of 2.20 kg.

Discuss Integration with AI Armaments

Final configuration, penetration performance, target suitability, platform compatibility, qualification, availability, and delivery are subject to engineering assessment, system integration, testing, contractual agreement, applicable regulations, export-control requirements, and end-user approval.
