Surface-Strike Applications

RF and RF+IIR Seekers for Cruise Missiles

Artillerie Inrichtingen Armaments BV presents SPECTARIS ARH-SS, an active RF and RF+IIR hybrid seeker family developed for surface-to-surface cruise-missile programs.

The family supports cruise missiles launched from ships, submarines, land systems, and airborne platforms for engagement of stationary or moving ground and maritime surface targets.

Subsystem Profile

Key Capabilities
  • Active RF seeker configuration
  • RF+IIR hybrid seeker configuration
  • Long-range target acquisition
  • Long-duration cruise-missile operation
  • Homing on stationary and moving surface targets
  • Ground and maritime surface-target applications
  • Engagement of in-shore platforms and ships
  • Electronic counter-countermeasures capability
  • Low-observable integration characteristic
  • Ship, submarine, land, and airborne launch applications
Active RF and Hybrid Configurations

SPECTARIS ARH-SS can be supplied as an active RF seeker or as an RF+IIR hybrid seeker. The hybrid configuration combines RF sensing with an imaging-infrared channel according to contracted mission and target-set requirements.

Long-Range Acquisition and Endurance

The published profile includes long-range acquisition and long-duration operation compatible with cruise-missile missions, supporting target acquisition and homing after extended missile transit.

Stationary and Moving Surface Targets

The family supports homing on stationary and moving ground or maritime surface targets, including in-shore platforms and ships. Final target classes and engagement envelopes remain program-specific.

ECCM and Low-Observable Integration

ECCM supports operation in contested electromagnetic environments. Low observability is a published integration characteristic. Specific techniques, waveforms, bands, signatures, and performance values remain controlled program information.

Full-System Engineering

Ship, Submarine, Land and Airborne Integration

The published launch scope covers ships, submarines, coastal-defence and other land systems, UAVs, and aircraft. Seeker integration is completed with the selected cruise missile; launcher and platform compatibility are established at full-system level.

Integration covers the seeker-to-missile mechanical envelope, radome or sensor window, electrical power, databus, guidance and autopilot interfaces, software, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility.
