We are seeking a Procurement Specialist for Ammunition and Energetics to manage the sourcing and purchasing of high-quality munitions and energetic materials, creating a wide network to supply our partners within the right budget and timeframe. Job Description:

As the Procurement Specialist for Ammunition and Energetics, you are someone with a keen eye for sourcing high-quality materials. You excel at finding the right products and negotiating competitive prices. However, unlike typical procurement roles, you will be dealing with items that come with specific regulations, including export laws and various safety directives. Your responsibilities will also include organizing the transport of these materials, ensuring compliance with transit permits across different countries. You are not deterred by setbacks; instead, you see them as motivation to achieve your goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for ammunition and energetic materials, ensuring compliance with export regulations and safety guidelines while securing timely and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for high-quality products.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, supplier capabilities, and potential cost savings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to align procurement strategies with operational needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Academic degree (Bachelor’s level) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the defence, military, or technology sectors.
  • Language: Excellent proficiency in English is essential, while fluency in Dutch is considered an advantage.
  • Security: Mandatory Dutch background check (VOG).
