A.I Armaments’ Advanced Testing Facilities and Commitment to Technological Innovation: A.I Armaments is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan, which includes the integration of cutting-edge laboratory and range facilities within its upcoming facility in the Netherlands. Scheduled to open within the next 18 to 24 months, this state-of-the-art facility will reinforce A.I Armaments’ commitment to technological innovation and excellence.
A.I Armaments’ manufacturing team envisions a new facility spanning 60,000 m2. This facility will house a world-class laboratory and a fully secured, multi-lane underground range. These additions will significantly augment the country’s domestic testing and development capabilities, solidifying A.I Armaments’ position as a leader in the ammunition industry.
The new facility will feature multiple underground firing lanes, dedicated pressure and velocity measuring systems, as well as precision instruments equipped with industry-standard SAAMI testing equipment and NATO-standard EPVAT testing equipment. A.I Armaments aims to establish the capability to conduct comprehensive testing of both standard and armor-piercing ammunition up to .50 BMG, with a focus on maintaining strictly controlled and continuously monitored environmental conditions.
To push the boundaries of performance, A.I Armaments plans to incorporate high-powered Infinition doppler radar into its testing capabilities. This cutting-edge technology will enable precise measurement and tracking of bullet performance in flight, allowing for the optimization of ballistic coefficients and terminal performance. The new range facility will accommodate various types of firearms, from fixtured test weapons to live-fire testing, all under meticulously controlled conditions.
In addition to brass-cased ammunition loadings, A.I Armaments’ new laboratory will enable exhaustive testing of multi-part casings incorporating alternative materials. This emphasis on innovation ensures that the company remains at the forefront of technological development in the ammunition industry.
