Job Description:

As a Sales Engineer, you possess the perfect blend of technical knowledge and sales skills. You serve as a bridge between the products offered by AI Armaments and the needs of customers, primarily government entities. You have a deep understanding of both the technical solutions and the nuances of the sales process. In addition to your sales responsibilities, you will also be involved in business development, steadily expanding AI Armaments’ client base. To achieve this, you will attend trade shows and symposiums, building personal working relationships with buyers and stakeholders to better understand their requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide detailed technical knowledge of AI Armaments’ products to clients and stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities and expand the client base by identifying potential clients and markets.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring client satisfaction throughout.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Trade Shows and Symposiums: Attend industry events to showcase products, network with potential clients, and gather insights on market needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other internal teams to ensure client needs are met and product offerings are aligned with market demands.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Academic degree (Bachelor’s level) in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or a related field, preferably within the defence or technology sectors.
  • Language: Excellent proficiency in English is essential, while fluency in Dutch is considered an advantage.
  • Security: Mandatory Dutch background check (VOG).
