We are seeking an Electronics Engineer (UAV) to join our team in developing integrated weaponized drones. Do you feel energy and passion for this mission? Then you are the one we are looking for!

Job Description:

As the Electronics Engineer (UAV), you will be a vital contributor to the development of integrated weaponized drones, a key focus area for AIA. You will collaborate with both domestic and international partners to enhance drone control systems and improve their resilience against jamming. This role requires a deeper level of expertise than that of a typical electronics engineer, as AIA strives to become the “best of class” in the industry. Your contributions will be essential to achieving this goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Drone Control Systems: Design and develop electronic control systems for UAVs, focusing on robust performance and reliability.
  • Jamming Resilience: Implement strategies to enhance the resilience of drones against electronic jamming and other countermeasures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to integrate electronic systems into drone designs effectively.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of electronic systems to ensure they meet operational requirements and safety standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest advancements in UAV technology and integrate best practices into AIA’s development processes.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Academic degree (Bachelor’s level) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience: Professional experience in product design or engineering would be a plus, but is not mandatory. This position is open to all experience levels and will be rewarded accordingly. Hobbyist experience with drone (design or building) is a big plus!
  • Language: Excellent proficiency in English is essential, while fluency in Dutch is considered an advantage.
  • Security: Mandatory Dutch background check (VOG).
