AI Armaments is embarking on a transformative expansion with the creation of a state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D facility in the Netherlands. Set to open in 18-24 months, this advanced site will feature world-class laboratory infrastructure and a multi-lane underground ballistic range, reinforcing our leadership in the European ammunition industry.

Facility Overview ( future development)

Total Area: 60,000 m²
Purpose: Secure, high-performance testing and manufacturing hub
Opening Timeline: 2026

Key Features:

  • Underground Firing Lanes – Multi-lane, fully secured
  • Calibers:
    • Small caliber: up to .50 BMG (12.7×99 NATO), including armor-piercing rounds
    • Medium caliber: all grenade ammunition, including 40x46LV, 40x53HV and 30x45AIA
  • Testing according o NATO AEP-97:
    • Electronic Pressure, Velocity and Action Time (EPVAT) – Measuring systems calibrated according to NATO standards
    • Environmental Controls – Precision-monitored for consistent testing conditions, from -54°C up to +52°C

Pioneering Materials Research

The facility is also engineered for materials innovation. In addition to brass-cased ammunition, our lab will test:

  • Multi-part casings
  • Alternative materials
  • Next-gen cartridge architectures

This ensures future-ready designs that support both tactical needs and environmental resilience.
