As of April 15, Artillerie Inrichtingen Armaments has signed a long-term lease agreement for the secure storage of Energetic Materials (Class 1.1) in state-of-the-art bunkers located just over the German border. This strategic move strengthens our supply chain and ensures efficient access to critical raw materials essential for ammunition production.
Dedicated Bunker Storag
To meet the highest safety and regulatory standards, we have secured four dedicated bunkers with specialized storage conditions optimized for Class 1.1 energetic materials:
- 190m² | NEQ: 68.40 tons (1.1)
- 190m² | NEQ: 68.40 tons (1.1)
- 190m² | NEQ: 70.70 tons (1.1)
- 190m² | NEQ: 71.40 tons (1.1)

Entrepreneur Gerard Advocates for Dutch Munitions Factory to Strengthen National Defense
Gerard Zondervan is calling for the creation of a Dutch munitions factory, stressing its necessity to ensure the country’s defense independence. Amid growing global tensions, he highlights the risks of relying on foreign suppliers for ammunition. With this initiative, the Netherlands could ensure a reliable and autonomous supply of critical resources in times of crisis or conflict. Zondervan’s proposal aims to bolster the nation’s strategic autonomy and enhance its preparedness for future challenges, aligning with broader efforts to secure defense infrastructure.

Gerard Zondervan, CEO of AI Armaments, has developed a specialized grenade designed to target and eliminate drones in mid-air. While his company manufactures drones and munitions, the explosive components for these grenades are still made abroad. Zondervan advocates for establishing a domestic munitions factory to ensure that the Netherlands can be self-sufficient in defense production, especially during times of conflict.
In recent months, our team has engaged in numerous meetings across various countries such as NL, UK, USA, and Ukraine. The prevailing topic of discussion has been the evolving battlefield dynamics, notably the increasing prominence of unmanned systems.
Addressing the challenge posed by aggressors, particularly in sourcing FPVs locally or within the EU without relying on critical components from China, has become a focal point for us and our partners. This shift in focus has led us to strategize on scaling up FPV production and exploring the feasibility of developing warheads/payloads via our sister company Nostromo LLC based in the USA, at a comparable scale and at a competative price.
Our cooperation with Ukrainian companies, helps us to keep up to date, with the challenges and changes on the battlefield, with actual data, we also will have a full line of drones connected to fibre obtics, with reach of 10, 15 and 20km.
Our proactive approach has yielded promising results, bolstered by the acquisition of an SME specializing in FPV drones, this line will be furthermore extended under our new sister company AIA Systems BV.
This strategic move has already secured 40 Nato Stock Numbers for their drone line, enhancing our capabilities significantly.
Taking decisive action, we are poised for the next phase:
– Initiating production of 10,000 units of our FPV Serie within 3 months.
– Scaling up to 30,000 units of our FPV Serie within 6 months.
With this trajectory, we are well-equipped to supply drones and payloads, proudly bearing the mark “Made in Holland” 🤝.
