40 mm AIA-AGL Automatic Grenade Launcher
The AIA-AGL40 is a fully automatic, blowback-operated, air-cooled machine gun designed for sustained fire support. It can be deployed on a tripod for ground use or mounted on vehicles and boats using a standardized interface.
The system utilizes the M430 HEDP round, capable of penetrating up to 2” (50 mm) of armor, making it highly effective against light armored threats. With an effective range of 1,500 to 2,200 meters, the AIA-AGL40 has been in service since 2005 and continues to be a reliable asset across various armed forces.
