The AIA LITE Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) is engineered for lightweight platforms, delivering an optimal balance of firepower, modularity, and affordability. Designed for use on armoured personnel carriers (APCs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), and naval patrol vessels, the system provides enhanced lethality in low- to mid-intensity operational environments.
Its reduced weight and streamlined design make it ideal for platforms where space and payload are at a premium—without compromising on performance.
⚙️ System Overview
The AIA LITE RCWS is available in two primary land-based configurations:
🔹 Land AIA LITE 7.62 mm RCWS
- Equipped with a 7.62 × 51 mm NATO General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG)
- Ideal for infantry support, convoy protection, and urban patrols
- Lightweight turret optimized for UGVs and light tactical vehicles
🔹 Land AIA LITE 12.7 mm RCWS
- Configured with a 12.7 × 99 mm (.50 cal) Heavy Machine Gun
- Enhanced range and firepower for reconnaissance vehicles and light armored units
- Suitable for anti-materiel and anti-vehicle roles
🛡️ C-UAS Integration Capability
When integrated with sensor suites, radar, or electro-optical systems, the AIA LITE RCWS platform can be adapted to support Counter-UAV (C-UAS) operations, offering a scalable kinetic option for neutralizing drone threats.
