Job Description:

As the Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality management systems. You will be well-versed in theoretical and practical aspects of quality systems and certifications such as ISO, NEN, and AQAP. Your knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations (Arbowet) will also be essential in this role. You will work methodically and structured, with a strong focus on management-driven processes. Your ability to motivate personnel on the shop floor to meet certification requirements will be key, as you will bridge the gap between theory and practice. You will thrive on pursuing improvements identified during audits, understanding that every enhancement can have significant implications for safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO, NEN, and AQAP standards.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations (Arbowet).
  • Motivate and guide staff to adhere to certification requirements and promote a culture of quality.
  • Conduct internal audits and follow up on findings to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement and facilitate training as needed.
  • Track and report on quality metrics to senior management.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Academic degree (Bachelor’s level) in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or Production Management, or similar. A Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent with a focus on Quality Assurance or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a related role, preferably within the defence, aerospace, or manufacturing sectors. Demonstrated experience with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AQAP).
  • Language: Excellent proficiency in English is essential, while fluency in Dutch is considered an advantage.
  • Security: Mandatory Dutch background check (VOG).

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed for meetings, trade events and site visits.
